Monthly Golf and Dinner |
Pool Events (May - September) |
On the 1st Wednesday of each month all adult residents of Woodmere-Trentwood are invited to gather monthly at the Carolina Trace Country Club for cocktails and dinner. There is also a 9-hole golf outing that is open to all residents.
Advance reservations are a must. A sign-up poster for both events is available at the Carolina Trace Country Club on the Bulletin Board downstairs in the Library area. Event volunteer hosts arrange the golf tournament followed with cocktails at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m. Adult non-club members must pre-pay for their meals. You do not have to play golf to attend the dinner. In November all active duty residents and spouses are formally invited to attend the POA dinner as our guests. |
With the Pool opening in May, the fun begins and you will have an opportunity to meet your neighbors. During pool season residents of W-T gather for scheduled theme parties that include dinner. The party volunteer hosts send out a flyer announcing the event for the upcoming party. Look for the event flyer in your mailbox. An informal gathering and cookout occur on all other Saturdays and holidays.
Your neighbors volunteer a week at a time to keep the pool area neat and tidy. The schedule is posted at the pool bulletin board and shows the dates and duties. |

Emergency Response |
A Woodmere-Trentwood community resource to help in case of an emergency. C.A.R.E. is designed for short-term assistance to families who are experiencing a crisis, illness or loss. Volunteer coordinators organize people within their C.A.R.E. group to provide meals for the family, limited transportation and help with errands if needed. This program is not designed to be long-term or a burden on the volunteers. Our hope is that we don’t need it, but when we do, the volunteer coordinators will enlist assistance for those in need. Each family is assigned to one of ten C.A.R.E. groups. C.A.R.E. volunteer coordinators have designated areas and this link provides the list.

Several Woodmere-Trentwood residents are part of Lee County CERT (Certified Emergency Response Team) and assist authorities during emergencies.
All residents are encouraged to have updated disaster recovery plans. The Grab & Go and Home Preparedness List is a good guideline for the items you should consider. |
